Beechwood Grove
We encourage the people who reside at Beechwood to personalise their rooms with items of furniture, photographs and memorabilia so that they feel truly at home. All rooms have TV aerial sockets, Wifi and wheelchair access and of course, nurse call systems for the safety and wellbeing of our residents. The Beechwood Homes, a not-for-profit residential health care complex, serves the needs of those who require supportive health services, while at the same time enjoying a retirement community atmosphere.

Now I gather that if you intend to go from Bingen to Braubach or Koblenz, as I do, the pass this outfit sells is not a bad deal, 27€ vs. 30,60€ if you walk up to the booth the morning of travel.
Beechwood Grove Care Home
The Blocher Homes admitted their first Resident in 1906 and joined the Beechwood Homes in 1977. The Wesley Rehabilitation Center opened in January 1996. Asbury Pointe, an independent senior retirement community, is the newest addition to our continuing care family.

Beechwood Grove Care Home offers 60 private ensuite rooms in a homely, safe and comfortable purpose-built care home in East Sussex.

Our seasoned team is available to provide you with outstanding service, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Standard fare KD tickets are priced by distance but are valid the complete season. The KD Rhine Pass pays for a trip Rüdesheim/Bingen to Braubach or Koblenz.
Plus, if you show your train ticket, you get 20 % off your boat ticket. Accommodations consist of 279 private and semi-private rooms. This includes a 36-bed memory care unit and Wesley Rehabilitation Center, a 22-bed unit designed specifically for residents with short-term rehabilitation needs. Each room is tastefully decorated and offers a private bathroom and spacious wardrobe/closets. We have a range of measures in place to support the ongoing wellbeing of our residents and staff.

I qualified as an enrolled Nurse in 1985, after this I worked at the William Harvey Hospital in Kent. I then moved to working with severely disabled adults within Social Services. Following time out to have my family, I returned to a care home environment and qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1993. I then furthered my role working as a Senior Nurse and was instrumental in implementing the Gold Standard Framework within the care home I was then working in.
My biggest accomplishment was leading a team to win the coveted National Association of Care Catering Award for Care Establishment of the Year. My favourite activity in my spare time is making memories with my family. We have four spacious lounges where residents can socialise, enjoy their favourite TV shows or simply relax. As well as two quiet lounges where residents and family members can enjoy some private time away from the bustle of the home.
